We designed 4 bars, 2 restaurants, pro shop, the conference suite, main reception and locker rooms so that the Mere concept flows seamlessly between the old buildings and the new hotel extension.
The Spike Bar is the luxurious club lounge and bar, designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The warm colours and textured fabrics create the perfect place to wind down and socialise after a strenuous round of golf.
Browns Restaurant in the reception area provides a comfortable, informal dining experience during the day but transforms into an atmospheric gourmet restaurant in the evening thanks to the clever use of lighting and colour.
We are especially proud of the James Braid Conference Suite, where the warm walnut panelling and neutral décor enhance the beautiful views of the Mere Lake and beyond. The room’s versatile design makes it the ideal venue for occasions as diverse as corporate events and romantic weddings. The tasteful and timeless elegance of the décor creates a sumptuous ambience, despite the suite having the capacity to cater for 550 guests.
Our close working relationship with Mather and Co Ltd has resulted in a fantastic resort, of which we are justly proud.
